These are the original spark plugs for my Escape. Ford did a good job of providing enough access for an easy spark plug change. There's an air hose that needs to be removed to access the rightmost connector, but the other three are like taking candy from a kid. A little WD-40 to re-lube the snorkel and I did the whole job in 30 minutes or less. It's nice to have two 3/8" butt splice 3" extensions (no room for a 6" extension) and reach the outlet and life is great. Our Escape has clocked up 81,000 miles so it wasn't a 'notice' per se but with these OEM plugs at such a great price and as this is a very easy DIY project, do yourself and your car a favor . Don't wait 100,000 to replace them. I brought it down to 0.031 for our car. Highly recommended and very satisfied. Oh yeah, if our 2.0 EB wasn't fast enough already, these plugs give it a little more room.
