I had to fight to get these keys to work! They spread the grips that open the pipe too far or just open too far! I had to struggle to get them out of the pipe when they got stuck in the pipe. Although in most cases they didn't even pick up the whistle. I know how to use them. I have another, not that brand, and it works great. I needed more than one pipe wrench so I bought these. Not worth the money at all. There was a red tag on the inner box like someone had already sent it back! Yes they offered to replace them but no thanks. You returned my money. I don't normally write negative reviews but I had to.
