Still looking for a good salsa maker

I had a salsa maker that got a lot of use. First one of the plastic gears broke because the tomatoes weren't chopped finely enough. I continued to use it until the grip pylon failed due to fatigue loading. The grip pylon to the top of the mold needs to be designed with a much larger radius to reduce fatigue damage. This salsa machine is much smaller than my previous one (about half the capacity). It also has a hole that's only about 0.38 inches in diameter, although the photo shows it's much larger. It's almost useless as you have to remove the top to put in non-liquid ingredients (what a pain). I also have a feeling that the pylon will tire over time as the design is the same as my previous one. The two-speed function is good and the blades are very sharp, but the instruction manual says not to grind hard foods like nuts. Good thing I have an electric food processor as it doesn't work well. Overall this is a good salsa maker but I could come up with a better one that works better and lasts longer.
