Review on Faber Castell 48-Color Premium Color Pencils by Tara Taylor

Will definitely be buying more

I know these pens are considered school quality crayons but they are really smooth and creamy when applied. Leads are strong. They sharpen very well. So far I've had one paint that got sharpened and then lost lead, but I think it's the one that didn't do well in shipping. I just sharpened it again and everything is fine. I don't recall any of the paints being remotely identical in color. Pencils don't have names, but they do have a number. I wish companies didn't use gold as it's hard to read. These aren't the cheapest crayons, but they're worth every penny. The school class convinced me that I need to save and buy a professional class in the future. I don't use paint thinner or mineral spirits when painting, so I don't know how they work with that. I also use a dark and a light one to create my effects, but they mix. I think I need to add more dark. I had one where I mixed red and orange to make a poppy and that worked really well too. There aren't many purples in the set, so if you really like using purples, that could be a disadvantage. Many warm tones. Lots of green and blue.

Cons
