I bought a new car and the old charger didn't work in the new one. I have air vents that rotate so attaching them was useless and I didn't want to attach anything to my windshield or dash as it would block my view. This phone holder is brilliant. I have a CD player which I don't use as I use a music streaming service when I drive so the idea of using a useless CD hole to mount my phone was brilliant to me. This holder is very easy to assemble: simply loosen the ball joint boot, insert the ball and tighten the boot again. That's all for assembly. Then insert a flat rubber insert into the CD hole and tighten the clamp from below, done. Press the side button to open the arms, place the phone in the stand and close the arms. The phone is stuck, does not rotate. You can rotate your phone 360* without slipping. It stays where you want it, at any angle that's perfect for you. It's a fantastic price point at just under $15 at the time of this review. I am very happy with it and can only recommend it.
