I really like them. I have two very stubborn German Shepherds. I have a total of four German Shepherds. We trained them more extensively and these collars came in handy. After reading many positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I only shocked them twice (#5) and now when they hear the beep they immediately stop their misbehaviour and come right up to me and I don't say anything at all. When I see them getting ready to do something, I signal them before they do it. Before these collars, I had a serious problem when they barked at our neighbors. No longer! The batteries it contains last a very long time. I ordered them in May and it is now July and I have not charged them or the receiver. They also work with a fully charged battery. I never take them off my dogs and they don't seem to bother them at all. You can give them three different types of alerts. And you have a beep, a vibration, and then a shock. Don't put the shock too high on this collar, always start with one or two and work your way up from there. I'm going no further than 5. Please do your research before using a tranquilizer collar. They can be easily misused and abused. I have a professional trainer who trains our puppies after they are sent home to our families. family choice.
