The Monroe Reflex damper is awesome!

Monroe 911149 Reflex LT ShockMonroe 911150 Reflex LT Shock I have BF Goodrich T/A Radials 285/60r/16 tires. I just wanted to correct this review so that potential shock buyers would have this information to refer to when choosing which shock to go with. First, let me warn all Edelbrock fans about these shocks. I had these dampers for a short time and when I installed them and took them for a test ride they were very soft yet felt comfortable. Well, over time they seemed to get worse and worse with the softness each month, and then they noticed that the truck was just awful to handle cornering, in any wind, small bumps and stops. With this damper brand from Edelbrock I save you time. They are awful and potentially dangerous after just a few months of normal driving. Now for the Monroe Reflex shock absorbers, which I checked before buying. Everything about these shocks as advertised by Monroe is true! These shocks are absolutely the best truck shocks I have ever had on any of my trucks. If you are looking for a shock with comfort, handling, excellent braking control and sufficient stiffness, then this is the one for you. When I installed these Reflex shock absorbers, I immediately noticed that they are excellent Monroe shock absorbers. Body roll on corners is gone, so you're pinned down on the road in tight corners and turns. The ride is very comfortable, and when you hit hard bumps, these shocks allow you to ride comfortably. These shock absorbers really keep your tires on the road in all situations. In addition, these shock absorbers improve braking performance. Believe me, if you are looking for the best shock absorber for a truck, these will impress you the most. I'll tell you a little secret. Revain sold me all four shocks for $185 with free shipping. Sears and other Monroe dealers sold them for $324 for four shocks without having them installed. Thank you Revain for such suggestions!
