Good design with o-ring to seal the device

Excellent lock with o-ring to improve the weather resistance of the device. Worked well once I was able to adapt to my existing CH751 lock cam. This lock is an Illinois lock cam which is not directly compatible with Ace locks or regular locks. Traditional ACE camlocks have an approximately 3/8 inch square cutout that is secured with a screw. It has a small square shank with a nylon lock nut and washer. external storage compartments The easiest way is to order the correct lock length and then use the existing cam that has been adapted to the new lock. the adapter fits into a square cam. The only problem was that I had to file the edges of the cam adapter to fit my existing locks. After I made the changes, the locks worked very well for my RV's storage compartments. All cylinder locks that I could find were the same cam type, so the only real option was to buy that or similar Illinois-type locks and matching deadbolts. The cam adapter was the easiest option but still required a bit of work for final assembly. The only option for locking these locks is the same as those sold together as a set. In my case I had 6 1-1/8" locks and 1 5/8" locks that I wanted to replace with the same key. I ordered a set of 5 1 1/8" locks and a set of 2 5/8" locks. Each sentence was coded separately. Then I searched the internet for barrel type locksmith videos to drill the plug, pick the lock and then change the key so I have all the same locks. I would give him 5 stars if he could order multiple locks for the same key. , and if a cam adapter has been installed in the lock to adapt it to standard ace style locks. Ultimately though, it's a good option for a much more secure lock compared to the standard CH751 locks found in most RVs and homes.
