My son is a serious gamer and plays a lot of games/streams/has an online community that he also interacts with so this update was perfect for him. At first I was concerned about eye strain given the size of this thing, but he switched back to a wireless keyboard and tweaked his settings a bit. The glare protection is great too. The graphics on this monitor are great, phenomenal and ready to go. The colors are bright and dazzling. We like the included remote because it's pretty much like a TV, so it's also perfect for those who watch a lot of network streaming but also want the convenience and power of a PC. Ways to maximize usage are nearly endless. I shoot a lot of real estate videos and I love that my son is working with me to edit them on this huge screen and the resolution is fantastic. For the price you get you can use it with game consoles. and the sound is impressive too. My son has a gaming speaker that he uses in addition to the built-in ones and is very happy with them. It is definitely a solid investment, gift and/or addition to almost any home, office or serious gamer and I cannot recommend it highly enough! It's definitely worth keeping an eye out for even more savings as the holiday season approaches.
