Works great as a bottle. I particularly like the Put Dat Biscuit Down series. That sets it apart from any other gallon pitcher. However, the black inner lid easily detaches from the metal, making the can almost unusable. They only use strong super glue (I used Gorilla glue). Unfortunately my friend I gave one to didn't have superglue and the black cap came loose and was lost. This is an unnecessary mistake as the manufacturers could have simply put a stronger adhesive between the black inner cover and the metal outer cover. Or they could invest in a better cap overall.
