These cameras are great for very specific applications. They are by no means dynamic, but as a very simple and inexpensive camera they perform excellently. Just don't expect it to perform like an expensive Go Pro or Axios body camera. I use two of these on my helmet when driving around New York. I have a Bell helmet and put velcro through the vents to allow the front and back cameras to snap into place. Pros - Great value for money - Sturdy clamp, camera can be rotated 360 degrees around an axis - Long battery life, easy 6+ hours - DVR style video that creates 5 minute clips and repeats the oldest clips, when packed - Small, light and unobtrusive - Super easy to use, 1 button functionality - Fast charging Cons - Built-in memory cannot be expanded - Memory will run out before the Pro/Con battery is depleted Price ok , but not of vlog quality - no visible light to indicate it's actively recording. So when the battery dies you won't know until you stop recording, but it can come in handy if you want to record in a way that people won't know what you're recording, check your local laws if You are in a 1 or 2 party consent zone. Overall, this camera is amazing once you understand its limitations. For me, using a camera in a helmet is ideal. It's small, durable, easy to use, and inexpensive. Yes, the video quality is mediocre, but I only use it in case I get into an accident. I think there might be other avenues that people could use. If you just need a recording camera to protect yourself, this is a great camera. A few situations that come to mind are walking the dog or someone working in a situation where there could be conflict and wanting to record for their own protection or just want protection from a random person like Karen. You can easily clip it to your belt or pocket and further know that it will be picked up. I've been playing with night vision but to be honest I don't need it. with "spaces" and the camera thinks the memory is full. This happened to me twice when I pressed record, the light flashed red and blue and then went out with no record. This is easy to fix, just format the drive.
