Review on 🚪 LiftMaster 893Max Garage Door Opener Remote, 1 Pack, Black by Josh Endricko

According to multiple sources (including Liftmaster) this remote will work with all Liftmaster/Chamberlain openers with color learn button and door sensors manufactured since 1993. My Liftmaster fits that description perfectly (it's a 1996 model) and yet I can't get this remote to work with my opener. The top rated review has a link to a video that seems to work for a lot of people. I found two other YouTube videos on how to program this remote including one from Liftmaster. Interestingly, all three videos have slightly different instructions on how to connect the remote to your opener. I've tried all three methods, as well as the (slightly different, slightly garbled) instructions in the written instructions on the box. None of them worked. I can't understand why. I've tried each method multiple times. When pressing the remote button multiple times, I tried to press quickly and other times I tried to do it slowly. I held the remote closer to the opener and farther away. I don't have an LED bulb in the opener. Very frustrating.
