1. I just received the controller. It's only been 3 days since I ordered them. 2. It took less than a minute from the moment I opened the package to the moment it started controlling my TV. I was surprised! He was basically ready to go. It comes with batteries installed. 3. When I decided to get a backup for my original controller, I expected to pay on the order of $70-$80 based on my extensive experience with electronics. I was amazed to get 2 for $12! I don't understand how they do it!
