I like how the device activates automatically so I don't have to remember to turn it on. Set and forget. But if you want to play with it, there are many flashing models and levels to play with. The light is quite bright and easy to see during the day when not obscured by your saddlebag. In my case it is. If there was a way to attach it to the back of the saddlebag it would work, but I can't use this light at the moment. If you also have a saddlebag, make sure you have enough seat overhang to mount a light under the saddlebag. In any case, the quality is good, the battery life is good, the light is bright and it works automatically. I can't say for sure if the brake light works because I can't see it while driving, but in my limited testing it worked as expected. Overall good light but not a good combination with saddlebags.
