This tea infuser is great for brewing loose tea. In fact, I bought my first tea ball from this company three years ago and only recently had to buy a new one because my daily use was causing the clamp to come loose. For under $5 I'd say a three year lifespan is pretty good! The reason I went back to this tea ball instead of just buying it from the grocery store is because of the metal grate. Regardless of the size of your tea leaves, you can brew tea without worrying about small pieces of your leaves getting into the tea. The taste of your tea will be exactly as it should be: clean and delicious! The hook at the end of the chain is also very handy as its flexibility allows you to hang it on any rim of the mug without worrying about having to rescue your tea ball with a spoon. It stays in place until it's been soaked long enough, and then you're good to go. This product is great for the price. If you are looking for a tea ball, I would definitely go to this one.
