Let me start by saying that while I don't like these seat covers, they do their job quite well. I wanted neoprene covers to help with accidental spills and I feel that neoprene, unlike traditional seat covers, prevents liquid from quickly seeping into the seat. God what a test I was put to the test today when half my coffee spilled in the passenger seat of my new car that I've only had for a month. The lid was about 90% coffee and something spilled on the seat. I was driving when I realized the coffee had spilled (I had a couple of drinks in paper cup holders that cafes give out and one fell off). I stopped as soon as possible to clean up the mess. Had I stopped immediately when it first spilled I don't think the coffee would have leaked through the lid, as far as I know the lid did the job. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it is not full coverage and part of the sides of the backrest is open as is where the seat meets the backrest. It was also difficult to attach the clips - so much so that I gave up trying to attach the covers to the seat. Otherwise, I'm glad I have them.
