It fits the length it takes from the living room to the kitchen as I like to listen to music through headphones as I move around to cook or do the dishes and walk back to the living room. It tangles a bit when you move the long cable back and forth, but it's easy to detach and untangle from the headphone. I've been using it every day for a few months now and it's still working fine. I hope it works for many more months. The sound is good. In fact, there is no audio delay from the TV or laptop. Well, the next best thing will probably be the more expensive wireless Bluetooth. Also, unplugging a long cord can be a little annoying, but it works for what it's made for.
