Excellent product. I needed this for an outdoor ramp my dad built for our 10 year old 200 lb Newfoundland dog, he slipped on it. The photos were taken a week after putting the tape on, I also added a regular rubber band just to try. perfect surface, untreated. And all I did was sandpaper to make sure nothing was sticking to the surface and a small brush to clean it of dust, sand and such, ripped off the backing of the tape and stuck it to the ramp boards. Fast and easy process. so far so good, with all the rain, extreme heat and humidity we've had in Wisconsin this year. I love the texture and overall quality of this band, even if I have to upgrade/purchase it again I still think it is money well spent for the safety and comfort of our pet. UPDATE: It's been a month now and we've had tons of rain and thunderstorms, this poor ramp is always soaked with moisture and yet the tape fits perfectly, doesn't buckle or come loose anywhere. I took and added some photos. Very happy with this brand, now I have bought the 3rd type of tape that glows in the dark, rubber type, for back stairs.
