Review on Blackburn Outpost Seat Pack Dry by Dwayne Calhoun

I've been using this on my road bike for a little over a year which unfortunately doesn't have rack/accessory mounts. After carefully researching saddlebags as an alternative to baskets, I decided to purchase the Blackburn due to its relatively low cost and performance. Competitor bags with similar attachment systems and accessory mounts cost about twice as much. Originally I needed this bag to carry my cycling clothes and shoes to work so I could change without leaving the house. The bag was large enough to hold all my work clothes and shoes while traveling, so I didn't have to return to the office after those trips. I have kept everything in an extremely durable dry bag, have used the complete setup over 50 times and have been able to pack a sleeping bag with a camp chair and shoes attached to the top several times. About 2 weeks after starting to use this bag. The system broke one of the clasp clasps on a key clasp, although the bag and clasp still worked. I immediately emailed Blackburn asking for a replacement clasp and they sent me a brand new bag. I can't say enough good things about Blackburn's customer service. Overall it's definitely worth the money and I will continue to buy expensive Blackburn bike accessories. I give this bag full credit for getting me addicted to cycling.
