To be honest I used a household iron to transfer my t-shirts and it worked, but then quite a bit of time. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try, when I first took it out of the box my husband gave me a strange look and thought it was too small to be useful. It easily sped up my abs from 3 minutes to 30 seconds! It works great with full size patterns and pockets. It has enough weight so you don't have to press hard. It is very convenient to use. The 3 temperature settings, auto-off and stand are also very useful, and the storage pouch is the icing on the cake. The price is fantastic too!
