I was looking for an online pencil sharpener for my writing studio at home, knowing the brand's reputation and the reviews were solid. So I rolled the dice. OVERVIEW: APPEARANCE – matte black plastic, smoke black plastic, chrome plastic surround; The shrapnel tray pops out easily and locks into place well. WEIGHT - fairly light compared to others I've had, so you'll need to hold them while you 'cut wood'. SHARPENING - I've tried it on a dozen different brands of pencils and this new blunt has done a very good job; it's not a pencil eater or pencil killer at this point SIZE - the vertical design is perfect for my small to medium sized desktop; I can even tilt it back a bit and just pull it forward if needed. VALUE -- I wish it was a bit heavier, which would make me more confident about its durability, but the engine seems experienced so time will tell; Although it was reasonably priced compared to others I've bought, I'm happy with the purchase
