At my desk I have a desktop, and then a stand where I will set my laptop. I also have some speakers, and headphones.I connected (A) to my desktop audio out, (B) to my laptop dock audio out.in/out on the rear I connected to my speakersin/out on the front I use to connect my headphones when I want them.This thing works perfectly and does exactly what I want/need! I can switch back and forth from A/B as input, and the mute button is very convenient.The volume knob is nice also. I haven't had any problems like some of these other reviews mention, but maybe it's been fixed.I recommend this board.
