Review on Milwaukee Instruments 716690 Ph Controller by Reginald Pitt

I have been using Milwaukee pH controllers for many years and have never had a problem. This product arrived today and I cannot calibrate it. When attempting to calibrate the device with Milwaukee calibration fluids (7.0 and 4.0), the readings keep fluctuating. The reading then stabilizes at 0.0 or 14.0. The device arrived completely intact with no visible damage - the probe was encased in a solution so not dry. The device sat in my mailbox all day at a temperature of 90+. It was very warm when I took it out. I've emailed Milwaukee support - we'll see what they say. UPDATE: Everything is fine. Milwaukee replaced the failed unit with a good one. It works great! =
