Review on πŸ”Ž Dorman 974-009 TPMS Sensor: Find Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor for Compatible Models by Jim Bijelic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They're a great fit on my 2006 Impala

I have a tip for anyone who might be having trouble with these TPMs. After they were installed in my auto shop, I kept getting tire warnings. Luckily the store is across from work and they were willing to keep trying. After 2 or 3 times I was ready to give up. I then checked the pressure (via the system on the car) and saw that the tire pressure was 45lb/lb (manufacturer's recommended tire pressure). I had a beer with the manager and told him about it. So Vic checked the recommended pressure on the door panel, 30 lb/lb. We got her down to 36/37 pounds and all is well. We think the car computer thinks they're overloaded. So before you give up or pay the dealer, check your tire pressure.
