Not rustproof.

The description says the screws are stainless steel. Nowhere on the packaging does it say "stainless steel". So I took out my trusty magnet and all the iron fit in. I would never use them on treated wood, even though the packaging says the screws are 'treated wood approved'. I can't find any description of what a "coating" is that makes it acceptable for treated wood. Might be good for indoor use but expensive as the price is more like stainless steel screws. Based on that experience, I wouldn't risk them on deck. The item has been returned.

use T-10 bit for #8 trim screw; The #9 screws use a T-15 bit
