Not rustproof.

The description says the screws are stainless steel. Nowhere on the packaging does it say "stainless steel". So I took out my trusty magnet and all the iron fit in. I would never use them on treated wood, even though the packaging says the screws are 'treated wood approved'. I can't find any description of what a "coating" is that makes it acceptable for treated wood. Might be good for indoor use but expensive as the price is more like stainless steel screws. Screw-4-U? for wood screws

I've been using this fastener for about six years, ever since I came across it while searching 'specialty fasteners' online. . I have ordered hundreds of these online and direct from GRK and have used them to attach panels, skirting boards, studs, ceilings, awnings, windows, doors and MORE. Recently. Nice Invention: Fasteners

I've never used this type of screw before but I've seen videos of screws, their different strengths and applications and I've seen them in action deck boards. I was interested in the reverse top threads and thought they would work for this application. They worked EXCELLENT, better than I expected.
