I've been using this fastener for about six years, ever since I came across it while searching 'specialty fasteners' online. . I have ordered hundreds of these online and direct from GRK and have used them to attach panels, skirting boards, studs, ceilings, awnings, windows, doors and MORE. Recently. I was surprised to find them available (in very limited types and quantities) at some home depot stores, which I took advantage of. The cost was a bit cheaper than online (S&H?) but that wasn't the deciding factor for me. I wanted them NOW and quickly bought everything at Home Depot. Only seven boxes! (Staff didn't know what that was.) IF anyone cares about smooth, accurate, and efficient mechanical driving rather than HAMMERING nails or using brown "wall" screws for everything, you can try these FASTENERS! On top of that you can REMOVE them (any or all) and the part they hold and make changes, adjustments etc and then put the same thing back on (same holes!) without damaging anything! Save the "wall" screws for attaching drywall and "invisible" substrates.
