I have a 2018 Ford F150. I was buying boots and the guy behind the counter asked me if I had anchors. I thought the spikes were built into the anchors. Do not go. They were separate for $50 an anchor. $200+ is out of my budget to have four metal squares. I turned to Revain and specifically to the anchors offered here by Ronin. Shipping was fast, they were well packaged and I started watching the tutorial video. You should probably have a hammer drill, which I didn't have. I was still able to get it to work after applying a decent amount of lube to the screw to reduce friction (very important) and a steady hand. Difficulties can arise if you already have body panels on your truck and have to retrofit them. There is a square cut out for the area but it may not line up with the holes so you can line it up straight with the drill bit which is key as these are self tapping screws. I used a grid attachment to form a temporary part of the area so a straight line can be drawn. Okay, back to the product - this is the real deal. Solid, strong. The best part is they provide 2 bits and a few extra screws. Thanks also because I had uncomfortable threads a few mornings and they couldn't work. The extra screws saved a life. Make sure the largest part of the hole is at the bottom and the narrower part is at the top. They match the FORD anchors perfectly and my cargo box is fully functional. Thanks to Ronin for suggesting a cheaper alternative. Again, $200 plus dealer install is a bit much and a steal if you ask me. Buy with confidence, watch the tutorial video, use lube to reduce friction on the screw, align everything and install the holes before attaching the plate.
