This is a quality device that is easy to install, the instructions are good and the voice communication with Alexa is perfect. Dust. I first ordered a similar wifi opener that looks like this, but the instructions were poor (not written by someone with good English). It wasn't synced to my router; returned it. I purchased this Meross device and was pleased with the quality of the parts and the instructions. Before installing I suggest you sync the device to your router and verify that the magnetic switch is open/closed. Then when you install the device and turn it on, it will connect. I installed the magnetic reed switch to the left edge of the garage door, near the top, using the double sided tape that came with the unit. The cable runs along the center rail of the opener and I attached it with a few dots of tape. From there it goes straight to the edge of the door. More than enough cable to get to a door. The device installed in the Alexa app. Activated voice control. Works great with Alexa and you can check door status by voice. The device now works with Alexa, with the Alexa app, with the Meross app, with my old door controller and with controls in two cars. You can take turns without any problems. It was a worthwhile investment.
