Revain says it doesn't fit my Passat but it fits
Revain said it doesn't fit my Passat with automatic temperature control but it fits very well and has fixed the problem. It looks a little different from the original part (the original was black and had a slightly longer stem) but the part number matches the old one exactly and it fits and snaps securely into the channel slot. The Climatronic no longer counts the temperature in the duct as -45 degrees, so the air conditioning is now working normally. VW wants about $50 for OEM so it was a good deal.
