These have worked well for 5 years. Recently the switches on both have gone out. Sometimes I can still get them to light up if I play with the switch and wiggle it around but they won't stay on. I have used them outdoors and only turn them on a few minutes a night when I need the extra light. That's probably why the switches have gone out as most people would turn them on and then leave the switch alone and let them turn on as it gets dark. The batteries still hold a good charge, probably because they never get fully discharged due to only being turned on a few minutes a night. Overall they have lasted longer than expected and put out a good amount of light. I am either going to try to find new switches or wire them without the switch so they just turn on at night and run until the battery dies. I may be able to get another year out of them by doing that. Overall Iwould recommend them.
