Review on πŸ”Œ DIY DMX512 Controlled Relay Switch Kit - 3 Channel, 5A DMX Dimmer Relay Converter by Greg Anderson

Inexpensive DMX controller that can control almost any AC or DC fixture

I am using this as the basis for remote control of a Kodak Carousel projector with QLC+ for a high school theater group, it worked great. I can move the sliders and turn the lamp on and off as needed. You can run it off a 9V battery, but that drains the battery pretty quickly, so I'd recommend using a 12V power supply. If you plan to use this one I would also suggest that you plan on housing it (access to a 3D printer) and have the option to plug it in. The documentation is rather sparse, but sufficient if you are familiar with DMX and relays. Although they give you the location of the mounting holes I would really like a board layout with the location of the LEDs. Finally, although you can buy the same board in China for a little less, I think they charged a fair price and were able to get the board in a couple of days.
