Included hardware will not fit 1" board. This might work for a 3/4" board, but the screws aren't long enough and you can't get to the nut threads when trying to install them on a 1" board. I drove the nuts all the way into the board, but the screws still didn't reach. If you have a standard 1 inch board, you need to buy additional hardware. The listing says the hardware is for a board up to 1 inch, but that's not entirely true. I wish I had time to return them, but right now it's easier to spend another $6 on better hardware. The pens themselves are great.
