Review on 🏞️ Husky Liners - 53110 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 Front Floor Mats Cocoa: 2014-2019 Models by Chad Myers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

More powerful than Weathertech but with less coverage.

I am pleased with the type of material Husky used for these floorings, they feel like rubber just like Weathertech flooring. The Husky liners feel thicker and stronger than the Weathertech liners. I used to have a 3 row Weathertech bottom set, they were strong but too flexible and after a year they warped, didn't lay flat and tended to move a lot in the 2nd and 3rd rows. I tried to get them back in shape with a heat gun but to no avail. I like that the Husky inserts have grooves on the bottom (just like the standard floor mats) to prevent them from slipping. What I don't like is the coating of the X-Act Earbuds on the front. They don't rise high enough on the sides; Weathertech pads are higher on the sides to keep dirt off the carpet. I like to buy solid floor coverings for each row to limit the amount of dirt and debris that gets onto the carpet. That's why I'm sending them back. I will be buying GMC front floor mats direct from the dealer as they offer the best coverage and installation for the price (when did anyone ever say that about dealer accessories?). The Weathertech is a bit overpriced compared to other available options and suffers from a lack of rigidity. The Husky Liner X-Act fit are great all-weather rubberized mats, but I wouldn't call them 'liners' as the front isn't fully covered.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
