Review on 🍳 Cuisinart CBP-116 Sauce Pot and Brush Set for Basting by Kimberly Bryant

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's a cup, it's a spread and it works

I have a pellet smoker and sometimes I need to soak things like ribs and steaks. It works fairly well for this purpose, but there are a few cons to be aware of: Pros: - good size/capacity for storing mop sauces - stainless steel construction - silicone grease, easy to clean, doesn't leave stains Cons: - the grease itself is a bit small and doesn't hold much sauce, so it takes longer to wipe off the sauce. - The spread does not reach the bottom of the cup. When you get close to the leftovers you have to tilt it to try to get the last leftovers. This means that some sauce is lost every time. It's a good spread and cup that should do the trick, but I'm not sure they'll get you any further than a simple silicone cast and cup. Had the inner brush been larger and reached the bottom adequately, it would have been a 5 star in my book.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • No paint required
