I don't think much about the look of this faucet, but I was surprised that everyone who enters my apartment immediately notices it and how old or dated it looks. It's hard to tell if this is a positive or negative comment lol. I think it really stands out on me because I don't have a vintage style kitchen. My sink doesn't have an atomizer and I've tried different aerator options to have some sort of atomizer in my room. Bathroom sink. So far they have all been chrome (to match my faucet) or a combination of white or black plastic and chrome. Each of them had their downsides, and only one of the chrome options had a really decent spray radius. And all of them had to pull the aerator down for the atomizer to work and every time I pulled it the whole handle of the faucet went down and it always looked like I was pulling the faucet. immediately aerator. I do not want it. The latter, which had a ball mechanism and something like a "double lever" to make it much longer and allow for more movement, didn't have a flow control mechanism. . I liked it initially because I liked the really strong water pressure which helped remove stuck food residue from the dishes or the sink and I was able to clean the sink faster. But because it used more water with each use, I was shocked to see my water bill increase by about 500 gallons a month. Ouch! Unfortunately, this faucet was all or nothing. If I tried to use less water pressure when I didn't need high pressure, the water would flow so slowly it would be almost useless. I was motivated to find a new aerator after purchasing a portable washing machine that connects to the sink with a hose. Snap Tube Mechanism. It was PITA to change the aerator every time I wanted to use the machine. But when I left the Quick Nozzle on the sink between washes, it had just a small nipple that shot out a smooth, straight stream of water without any mist at all. "Atomizer" or "snap aerator", but in chrome, unfortunately, there are no such options. But my search led me to this old vintage model and it turned out to be perfect! Many people complain that the hole is too narrow to squeeze on a regular faucet. But with the snap-on attachment to my faucet, it slips right over that little nipple and attaches securely to the faucet with no drips or leaks. Hooray! The only thing I don't like about it, which is why I gave it one star, is that at moderate to low water pressure, whether it's in spray or flow-through mode, the water comes out from the side (down where all the holes are). I've been trying to play around with it one way or another up until Sunday and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. The jet is so powerful it squirts water in unwanted places, but it's still a bit annoying, at least for me, as I don't like leaking when it comes to water. But overall I like how easy it is. Dress and undress when you want to wash. I also like that it works well when I just need a modest stream of water, and works just as well when I need full power, full power to clean a sink or rinse a very large pot or bowl. So I won't waste water like I did with previous aerators. It's so vintage but perfect for my needs. And oh, very cheap. A win! :)
