I have a Thunderbolt 3 dock that I use with my laptop, but there were several hubs on my desktop trying to fill in the gaps I had , until I found this 11 in 1 hub from TOTU. This thing has everything I need in a hub that looks and feels very well built and should last a while. On some other hubs, the USB ports break after constant plugging and unplugging. All of the ports on this one work as expected and are just as fast and reliable as what they are made for. I don't have 4k so I haven't tested it, but I have no reason to think it doesn't work as well as everything else. I can take it with me when I travel to work when I need it. Much smaller and lighter than my Thunderbolt 3 hub and less than a quarter the price. I wouldn't compare it to a Thunderbolt 3 hub, but it has the same features and ports as it and works very similarly. .I wish the USB ports were also for high speed charging and not for data transfer. I have a lot of things that I need to charge via USB and this could really help. They charge at 0.5A so overnight charging works fine but I need to find another way for things I need to charge now. What's more, this hub doesn't like iPads or external hard drives connected to them or high-performance devices. All in all a very good hub that makes my desktop much faster and easier and a great addition to my tech arsenal.
