Review on Sanabul Essentials Short Sleeve Compression Training Rash Guard: Perfect for MMA, BJJ, and Wrestling by Brian Campbell

Great value that does the job, but is it really a 'rashguard'?

This is less of a 'rashguard' and more of a moisture-wicking t-shirt. By that I mean it's not as tight as a rash guard should be. However, it's good enough to be useful. Unlike a regular t-shirt, it doesn't lift up the upper body during a fight. It usually stays in place. However, it's still a lot looser than a standard rashguard, meaning there's a chance your finger could get caught under the fabric. Durability is good. The shirt lasted quite a long time, which is great for the price. The logo started peeling off fairly quickly, which is a little annoying, but it doesn't take away from the shirt's usefulness. Overall, this is a great budget 'rashguard' (rashguard in quotes because it looks more like a shirt) that I'd highly recommend for beginners who aren't willing to invest in something more expensive. But it won't be your choice the deeper you invest in your BJJ journey.
