Don't use it for BJJ unless you like matburn.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. I really wanted it to be great because Sanbul is actually affordable. I enjoy using many of their other products, but this isn't one. Don't use it for BJJ unless you like matburn. Since the stripes are on the back near the shoulders, a matt burn is almost guaranteed with this shirt. For the first time in seven years, I suffered a serious mate burn in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the first time I wore this shirt. I do not recommend using this as a BJJ…

It's not worth it. Back

For reference only I've been grappling for 15 years so I've had dozens of rashguards. It's almost a straight pipe. Tight at the top and too loose in the stomach. The purpose of the rash guard is to catch offending fingers or toes. It looks more like a chubby kid's shirt to wear in the pool. I could also hear the threads crackling around my neck when I first took them off. The pros are that it's about as cheap as rashguards, and the non-branded logo is black and unobtrusive, making you look like

Very Happy suitable for water sports

I've been wearing this rashguard for 6 weeks. I use it 3 times a week for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training (both gi and non-gi) and I've had quite a few washes already. Stays tight and doesn't lose compression. Doesn't offer much compression, but it doesn't need to as it does the job perfectly. Very breathable, locks in sweat and doesn't cause discomfort or heat under the Gi. I'm tall, athletic, average size is right. The waist can stretch a little and the arms can feel a bit tight if you have…

Seems to be very, very high quality

I've been using them for about a month, a couple of times a week. Rashguards can only really be appreciated after a year or so - seeing how they've held up over time - so I can't give a full review and will do my best to update later. At the same time, these rashguards look very, very high quality. The stitching and workmanship feel solid and uncompromising. At first I wasn't sure about having the armpit mesh over the rashguard material as it's a bit more durable, but it seems fine and doesn't…

Great value that does the job, but is it really a 'rashguard'?

This is less of a 'rashguard' and more of a moisture-wicking t-shirt. By that I mean it's not as tight as a rash guard should be. However, it's good enough to be useful. Unlike a regular t-shirt, it doesn't lift up the upper body during a fight. It usually stays in place. However, it's still a lot looser than a standard rashguard, meaning there's a chance your finger could get caught under the fabric. Durability is good. The shirt lasted quite a long time, which is great for the price. The logo

Feedback on Large and XL sizes

TL;DR version - Men's. Height: 5 feet 11 feet. Weight: 215 pounds. More greasy than bulky. L is perfect if you like tight rashguards. XL fits well and should be an option if you don't like very tight fabrics. I am a jiu jitsu fighter and bought this rashguard to use under my gi. I'm a 5ft 11ft male and weigh 215 pounds - more fat than strong. So I wasn't sure if I should choose L, which fits my height but not my weight, or XL, which fits my weight but not my height. So I bought one of each in…
