I love that this camera is 1080p. This makes it ideal for editing footage in my YouTube videos and the like. I used the original Pi Camera but it had a weird aspect ratio. The fact that this TV matches a regular TV made it a winner for me. I noticed someone said it can't be focused, which isn't true. Not only can it be focused by turning the threaded lens, but you can also exchange this cover for other filters and effects. I really like the fisheye effect. I wanted it to mimic a CCTV camera in my escape room project and it was perfect for that. No software to install or anything like that. I plugged in the ribbon cable and used the red knot to start photographing. If you've never connected one of these ribbon cables before, you can do a quick YouTube/Google search to ensure you understand the process before attempting it yourself.
