My 3.5 year old and 22 month old boy got them with pads for Christmas. They can't use wrist guards because their little hands can't grab the bar with them, but the elbow pads and knee pads are great. Our kids immediately jumped up and took off with ease. Durable, easy to level. I gave 4 stars because 1 scooter arrived with a deep scratch on the paint. My toddler hasn't noticed yet but when you buy a new one you want it to look brand new. And I can't comment on the light as my meds either don't weigh enough or act fast enough for them to turn on so it may be a while before I can comment on the feature.
