Review on πŸš€ Rocket Nutcracker by Reed's by Daniel Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Versatile but needs improvement

This is a versatile nutcracker. I mainly use it for English walnuts. Breaks everything with ease. The downsides are that the screw mechanism that adjusts to the size of the nuts isn't very smooth, so it can be difficult to turn to the right size. It's not difficult, but it hurts. Additionally, some observers note the tendency of projectiles to burst outward in all directions. I solve this problem by running a washcloth or microfiber towel over the block when it breaks. Finally, I wish the unit had a non-stick coating on the bottom - it glides and glides across the counter or table. Again, the workaround is to use it on one of those waffle-patterned non-slip drawer liners, but the device would be sleeker if it fixed some of those shortcomings on its own.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
