WHY I BUY THIS: I'm not a pro, I was just looking for an ADS-B receiver to track planes using the Flightradar24 platform since I live near an airport and I'm always curious to see what planes are flying over my head. Of course I could just use a website to track flights, but I love making things with my hands and wanted to create something myself. DOES IT WORK: It suits my needs perfectly: I connected it to my Raspberry Pi 3 and was able to follow the instructions easily. on FlightRadar24; Within minutes I was tracking the planes and doing my part by uploading my data to their website. They also offer a free subscription to Flightradar24 Business which is great. As I said, I'm not a professional, so I can't give you any technical information. Review but I can say I was able to track planes 30 miles away (even 40 if they were near the window).
