These fit PERFECTLY on my truck's plastic wheel arches - no gaps or play. The (pre-punched) anchor holes also line up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes in the plastic wheel arch extensions. (Any reports to the contrary could be the result of poor model matching - be careful with your car's year of manufacture as body configurations have changed.) In short, they look good and PROTECT your car's bodywork from pebbles, road salt, dirt, etc. Installation was easy and (as another reviewer noted) they feel just as solid as the originals, maybe tougher. as close to the sidewalk as possible. But that's GOOD because my originals got caught on low obstacles - that's how they broke and/or fell off the car in the first place.
