IMPORTANT: This is another Blu-ray player that requires you to purchase your own media player software. It does NOT come with any media player software to play Blu-Ray DVDs. I already knew this but wanted to make sure buyers are aware before spending any money. This is a really solid, well-made DVD player. That's why it got 4 stars. But let's face it. Not many ordinary people use Blu-ray for data storage. You need a Blu-ray player to watch movies. Additional media player software will cost you more than many players. I suggest that you FIRST check online media player software cost and decide if you want to buy an external player. I chose quality software with great reviews because I love all the bells and whistles. There are some really cheap ones out there, but they are difficult to use and have very limited features. You get what you pay for and this DVD player is a really good player. You just need to know that it is not a movie player unless you buy a media player software.
