I was trying to upgrade my DS 220+ Synology nas ram and tried a bunch of Crucial RAM both Dual Rank and Single. None worked and after reading many reviews I understood it was a hit or a miss.I got the "Timetec 16GB DDR4 2666MHz (DDR4-2666) PC4-21300 (PC4-2666V) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL19 2Rx8 Dual Rank 260 Pin SODIMM Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory RAM Module Upgrade (16GB)" reference from reddit and decided to give it a try. The one I tried is Dural Rank 16GB. It immediately recognized the RAM, did a complete Memory Test - No issues and the result was "Ready" in Synology Assistant. Writing this to help folks looking to upgrade DS 220+ Synology NAS.
