Poor quality for the money
I have used this brand in all my cars for two decades. Of course, my C43 AMG breathes better with it. Although the quality wasn't very good. The plastic was extremely poorly cut. Thin pieces of plastic hang down the sides of the filter. The picture shows some of them. This special section seals the clean side of the filter box. I had to hand sand all the edges because you don't want to risk sucking that material into the engine. For a $50 filter the size of your palm, the quality should be a lot better.
