When I received 500 packs of 1 1/2" x 1/8" wood circles from Woodpeckers I was very impressed with the disc quality. They have a very smooth surface on both sides and a rounded edge. The texture of the wood is attractive and they were all the same size. In fact, out of curiosity, boredom, and because I obviously had nothing else to do, I counted discs. To my surprise, there were 14 extra discs in a box of 500. While these discs have a nice polished look that would be nice to use, they can easily be painted, stamped, or covered with a variety of other decorative materials. While I hate hiding the beauty of wood, I actually bought them to use as a base for Christmas wrapping paper and quirky little decorations to make miniature gifts that I use in miniature Christmas tree scenes. I was so impressed with the quality of the discs that I ordered another pack of 500. I wholeheartedly recommend this Woodpeckers product.
