I just replaced the defective part. I had a GPS.
just replaced a broken part for me. I had a problem with GPS. couldn't get my location accurate so I couldn't use GPS at all. not on maps, not in Waze. I've never repaired an iPhone before but I just followed the step by step guide on ifixit.com and a little over an hour later my phone was reassembled and the GPS was working great. Just a quick suggestion to store and label all the different sized screws separately so you can easily mount them
