These latches were used to enhance the bathroom cabinet sliding doors. They were the same size as the finger pulls they replaced. I thought I would have trouble fitting them because they seemed quite tight. I've done my best to center them in the hole, but they barely fit - maybe only 1/16 inch. Another reviewer suggested using a kitchen towel and a rubber mallet. It worked, except for 6 or 7 strands of kitchen towel stuck under the edge "sealed" on the cabinet door - I had to carefully trim them away so they weren't showing. To install the last two handles, I swapped to a dry dishwashing rag (this time, no fibers got under the rim and the finger pull surface was not damaged.
